The Titan Source...

The "Titan Source" quest is given by the Vision of Glint in Droknar's Forge, after you have completed "The Last Day Dawns", "Defend North Kryta Province", and "Defend Denravi" - it's the final quest in the game at the moment, and rewards you with a massive 50,000 experience points.  However, very few people seem to have got that far, or known that the quest is available; in theory it starts at Grendich Courthouse, though to allow a six-person team, starting at Yak's Bend is recommended!  Even on a fairly busy Saturday evening, it was hard to get a team together - one player came from the Spanish district, and another from the German district - luckily, he was able to persuade a monk friend to join us!  We took the level 8 Alesia and Orion with us, and headed for the Flame Corridor, which was now well-stocked with level 24 Charr Lords... and fought our way through to Dragon's Gullet, where, after plenty more Charr Lords, the three Titan bosses were finally found, in a large, oily lake, along with a selection of hangers-on.  It soon became a battle of attrition, killing a monster or two, respawning, and running back, until at last only the three big guys were left - and a concerted elemental storm attack, plus Winter and everything we could manage, got rid of them in one go!  After waiting a breathless moment to see if any hulks would rise from the rubble, we realised we had won - and also how late it had got.  Victory was sweet, as was the visit to the Vision of Glint for all those experience points...  - R
